Network Against Prohibition (NAP) - NT Chapter

The Network Against Prohibition (NAP) is a group dedicated to promoting and protecting the health and human rights of illicit drug users around the globe as well as the rights of those living in communities in developing countries who rely on opium, coca, cannabis etc for their survival! NAP originally formed in Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia, however, an expansion is underway.


Where to Get New Injecting Equipment
in the Northern Territory

You can get injecting equipment at a variety of places in the Northern Territory.  At the Needle/Syringe Programs (NSPs) and  at each of the Clinic 34s or Accident & Emergencies(not at Royal Darwin Hospital) you can get free injecting equipment. There are the A&E departments in Alice Srings, Gove, Tennant Creek and Katherine. Injecting equipment, in the form of FITKITS, can be purchased from some pharmacies and will cost you around $5-7. 

Remember to be patient if you are buying fits from a chemist or getting them from a hospital emergency department. One person with a bad attitude can cause trouble for everyone. We have enough trouble getting fits into chemists as it is.
