Joint drug raid bust

A Darwin man was caught with 550g of cannabis and $16,800 in cash at a remote community.

Maningrida police were joined by members of the Remote Community Drug Desk and a dog to search the Ramingining home.

The money and a vehicle were seized under the provisions of the Criminal Property Forfeiture Act.

A 43-year-old Darwin man was charged with possessing a commercial quantity of cannabis, supplying cannabis and possessing tainted property.
