Stuart Highway facing prison charges

NAPNT members have kept in regular contact with Stuart over the past few days. Stuart has advised that tomorrow he will appear in some sort of kangeroo court for 2 prison charges. One for failing to appear at the office when summonsed over the loudspeaker and the second for failing to leave the visits area last week.

A number of letters were received from Stuart at NAPNT HQ today including a copy of a letter Stuart has sent to Nguyen Tuong Van in Singapore and a letter about Van's case that Stuart has written to the Prime Minister. We have printed this out and sent it snail mail. Both of these letters have been uploaded to Stuart's NAPNT blog.

Stuart reports that the flow of letters to him is slowing down. Please send a short letter or postcard to Stuart at the following address to help break the monotonousness for Stuart:

Stuart Highway
Darwin Prison
PO Box 1407
Darwin NT 0801
