Cannabis charges

A 36-year-old Rapid Creek man has been arrested and charged after police found a hydroponic drug set-up in his residence.

Police searched the premises on Wednesday and found three mature hydroponic cannabis plants in a bedroom cupboard.

Another mature plant was found being dried, and in another site five small seedlings, a quantity of loose cannabis and seeds were found.

The man was arrested and charged with possessing a dangerous drug and cultivation. He has been bailed to appear in court on September 20.
