Bill-pasting page updated

Attention anyone interested in the bill-pasting case!

Napatista Gary Meyerhoff has submitted a number of documents to the Court of Criminal Appeal at the NT Supreme Court over the past few days, including an outline of submissions and list of authorities to be referred to in the bill-pasting hearing on November 1. Our bill-pasting page has been updated with links to these documents, which have been uploaded to napnt.org.

This is an important case. The sole legal issue is whether or not section 97 of the Darwin City Council By-laws (the law against bill-pasting) breaches our implied right to freedom of speech.

If you are in Darwin or the Top End, please come to the Supreme Court at 2pm on November 1 to show your support for free speech and for the Network Against Prohibition.

On another note, special thanks to Sir Rantzalot for putting a clock on the NAP web portal. We hope that you continue to find the site useful!
