More on napnt.org - Just over 6 weeks to the SyringeFest

There is just over six weeks to go until the Fourth Darwin International Syringe Festival and our web page with information about this not to be missed event has been updated.

The updated page includes an invitation for people outside of Darwin to join us to discuss the SyringeFest in our yahoogroup chatroom every Friday from now on at 3pm Australian Central Standard Time.

Our events page has also been updated to include a number of conferences and meetings being held in coming months.

And in a continuation of our great run with letters to the editor lately, the Territory Times published this letter to the editor by Napatista Scott White today.

We are currently running a bit of a campaign to encourage Napatistas and NAP supporters to write letters to the editor of various newspapers to have your say about drug law-reform and other human rights issues you are concerned about. It is basically free advertising. It would cost us a fortune for advertisements like that in the NT News.

There are tips on writing letters to the editor, as well as email addresses of the major Australian newspapers and some international ones, on our 'get active' page. There are heaps more letter writing tips on the Media Awareness Project website.
