Justice not equal

AS much as I detest the drug-trade, I do not believe that Schapelle Corby is guilty.

She gets 20 years and Abu Bakar Bashir (believed to be the spiritual head of Jemaah Islamiyah and with links to al-Qaida) gets three years, cut to 20 months for his apparent involvement in the Bali bombings.

He also was implicated in a 2003 Jakarta hotel bombing, which killed 14 people.

This man has a lot of blood on his hands yet is seen by the Indonesian courts as deserving a lesser sentence than Ms Corby.

Being an Indonesian Muslim “cleric” seems to help in these cases. So much for Indonesian “justice”.
