Huge over reaction

IN response to Barbara’s letter (June 3) – yes, I totally agree with you. The whole world gone crazy over this Schapelle Corby case.

Please don’t get me wrong. I feel for this girl and all of her friends and family, but the fact of the matter is she was caught doing something illegal.

The fact that she is a young Australian is the whole reason why there is so much media attention.

I mean come on – if she were an average surfie looking dude then none of this would be happening. And it really is shocking to hear some of the things her supporters are doing in retaliation against her sentence. It is only going to hurt our relations with Indonesia and be damaging to Corby’s case.

It is only Schapelle Corby herself who knows in her heart of hearts if she is truly guilty of this crime, and the rest of us will probably never know. So wake up Corby supporters.
