Creek bliss

Tennant Creek is looking for another domestic violence officer. The last one, Elizabeth de Bondy, fled after being threatened with death by a woman's husband. Applications should be sent to alcohol advisory group head Sharon Kinraid, who says she loves Tennant and wouldn't leave it for quids. She says there has been an 86 per cent increase in alcohol and drug abuse in the town in the past year.
