Latest News from NAPNT

The Network Against Prohibition (NAP) is a group dedicated to promoting and protecting the health and human rights of illicit drug users around the globe as well as the rights of those living in communities in developing countries who rely on opium, coca, cannabis etc for their survival! NAP originally formed in Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia, however, an expansion is underway.

NAP meetings now on Wednesdays

NAP meetings will now be held on every second Wednesday at the Groove Cafe in Nightcliff.

If you are interested in seeing an end to the 'War on Drugs', please come along to a NAP meeting. The next NAP meeting will be held on the 8th of June and they will continue fortnightly after that. Things are looking very busy for the NAP crew in the next few weeks so it would be good to get some new blood!

The events page on the NAP website has been updated to reflect the new NAP meeting dates.

The events page also lists the latest confirmed events of the 4th Darwin International Syringe Festival which is being held in Darwin from the 5th to the 11th of September. Can you afford to miss (this event)? We are keen to hear from people who would like to help out with this year's SyringeFest. Email the team if you are interested.

The NT Drug News Vault continues to archive all the latest Northern Territory Drug News.

There is a backlog of updates that need to be done to the NAP website, including the Schapelle Corby page, which will be updated over the next few days.

Those of you who are new to NAP might want to join our email list.

Help us end the persecution of illicit drug users!
