The HMAS Tobruk left Sydney last week and is currently docked at Fort Hill Wharf, Darwin. It will depart Darwin this Sunday to transport more Australian troops to participate in the brutal occupation of Iraq. The troops will be deployed in the south of the Iraq, which is highly contaminated by the depleted uranium used by the U.S. against the Iraqi people in this war and the first gulf war in 1991.

Come along to protest against the deployment of 450 more troops to the U.S. oil war! Come along to add your voice to the growing protest movement demanding an immediate end to Australia's involvement in the occupation of Iraq.

Reports from the Sydney "send-off" protest for the HMAS Tobruk:

Soldiers give thumbs-up to anti-war protesters
