The Network Against Prohibition (NAP) is a group dedicated to promoting and protecting the health and human rights of illicit drug users around the globe as well as the rights of those living in communities in developing countries who rely on opium, coca, cannabis etc for their survival! NAP originally formed in Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia, however, an expansion is underway.

Loadman to go go

FANTASTIC NEWS EVERYONE!


On Wednesday, Ema Corro won her appeal against conviction for an aggravated assault charge that arose out of the 2002 Parliament Invasion. Magistrate David Loadman was the magistrate that found Ema guilty.


Chief Justice Brian Ross Martin said: "it wasn't a fair trial".


This the second time this year that we have won an appeal against one of Mr Loadman's decisions. It's time for Loadman to retire! Read more here.


In other news...


NAP members are excited about the prospect of sweeping changes to European drug laws. Yesterday, drug policy activists from across Europe offered a peacepipe to representatives of the European Union, during a Public Hearing in the European Parliament on the future of drug policies in the EU.
