Liquor charges

A Darwin supermarket has had its liquor licence suspended.

The Tiwi Supermarket's liquor licence has been suspended for five days for "book-up" - charging liquor sales to ATM and credit cards held by the store.

The NT Licensing Commission charged the store with four separate breaches of its liquor licence.

NT licensing director Gary Moriarty said it was the longest suspension handed down in the NT.
