Drugs, guns, money seized
Police have seized cannabis, ecstasy tablets, cash and firearms in three separate raids within 12 hours.
Drug Enforcement Section Superintendent Kris Evans said police had "upped the ante" on drug dealers with more power and resources to shut them down.
"Everywhere has a drug problem - the Northern Territory is no worse than the others," he said.
"This is just to show the community some of the hard work done by police to catch drug offenders.
"The battle is being won but the war will go on for quite a while yet."
In the first of Monday's raids, Remote Area Drug Desk members searched a northern suburbs home and found more than 1kg of cannabis in a vehicle.
Inside the house was a bedroom converted into a hydroponic growing room that contained one cannabis plant.
Police seized more than $6000 cash as well as the vehicle under the Criminal Proceeds Forfeiture Act and issued the property with a Drug House notice.
Less than an hour later, 12 large cannabis plants were found in a rural area raid.
Police also found four firearms, ammunition and 310g of cannabis but have been unable to find the suspect.
It is believed both cannabis seizures were destined for remote communities.
Plain-clothes police later busted a 29-year-old Darwin man for selling ecstasy after he was caught at a city nightspot with 36 tablets thought to be MDMA.
Detectives searched the man, who was allegedly acting suspiciously, and found six suspected ecstasy tablets, with a further 30 in his vehicle.
