Re-introducing napnt.org
The Network Against Prohibition NT website is now consistently having over three hundred thousand hits per month and has become an important facility for NT drug users.
In response to this increased interest in drug policy/social justice issues in the Northern Territory of Australia, NAP has enhanced their website.
The new site format is much easier to navigate and the main pages download quicker than previous versions.
We now have four blogs on the site. Latest NAPNT news and Media releases are the pre-existing blogs and these pages have been revamped.
Two new blogs have been established on napnt.org.
We have set up the new NT drug news vault on which we are archiving as many NT drug news stories as we can. This will be a valuable resource for people working for drug policy reform and human rights in the NT. If anyone wants to help with the task of typing out various media articles from the NAP scrap books, please give us a call on 8942 0570. Thanks to everyone who has helped out so far.
We have also setup another page to archive television, radio and other media stories on the NAP campaign. This will be a time consuming task and again we are looking for volunteers who can help with this. It is hoped that we will be able to upload a heap of transcripts and stories over the Christmas period.
As we strive to make the site more interactive we have introduced a number of facilities on our blogs, including a facility that allows you to email one of our posts to a friend and on some blogs, to make comments.
Once we have the php stuff sorted out, you will be able to get a user name and password for napnt.org and the site should be even more interactive, with news feeds coming directly onto the front page of the site.
Please checkout our website and feel free to link to us if you or your organisation has a website.
If you find any glitches, please email the NAP webteam.
