Darwin man jailed for drug making

A 25-year-old Darwin man will serve another two years in jail for the manufacture of $380,000 worth of methylamphetamine.


The former panel beater and baker has been sentenced in the Northern Territory Supreme Court.


[Name removed] pleaded guilty to six charges relating to the manufacture and possession of 360 grams of pure methylamphetamine and the possession of almost 300 grams of cannabis.


The court heard [Name removed] was caught while in the process of making the drug in a lab he had set up in a rented shed in the Darwin suburb of Winnellie.


Police also had video surveillance of [Name removed] at the lab.


Justice Sally Thomas sentenced [Name removed] to five years and seven months in jail, with a non-parole period of three years.


His sentence has been backdated to October last year when [Name removed] was arrested.

with this case it seems to me that this person got off very lightly and i think it is great and it would certinly piss the nt police off as i know that they where chasing this man around for a long time, and wasted a lot of resources. Sometimes i think that that big bad KRIS EVANS has no fucking idea!
DES coppers need to pull there head in because they think they are winning the fight agaist the big drug war TRUST ME THERE NOT.
