Police bust drink smuggler

Police have arrested a man for taking alcohol into a dry remote Territory community.

The 25-year-old man was found with a large quantity of liquor, including 11 two-litre casks of port, three full bladders of port, a part full bladder containing about 500ml of port and a 700ml bottle of rum.

Police at Papunya, 200km west of Alice Springs pulled the man over for a random breath test on Friday.
