Man on cannabis charges

Territory Police have arrested a 31-year-old man after seizing 17 ounces of cannabis and $2800 in cash from his northern suburbs home on Friday night.

The Casuarina Tactical Team executed a search warrant after an investigation.

Police seized 475g of canabis with an estimated value of $7000 and $2800 cash from the man's Tiwi home.

The man was charged with possessing a traffickable quantity of cannabis and supplying cannabis and was bailed to appear in Darwin magistrate's Court on Monday.
