Latest News from NAPNT

The Network Against Prohibition (NAP) is a group dedicated to promoting and protecting the health and human rights of illicit drug users around the globe as well as the rights of those living in communities in developing countries who rely on opium, coca, cannabis etc for their survival! NAP originally formed in Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia, however, an expansion is underway.

The 18th Community Smoke-In has passed without incident. Click here for the latest article on the NAP site with an update on our campaign for drug law reform and free speech in the Northern Territory of Australia.

As well as this new article, we have made a few minor changes to the site:

We have updated the front page

The diary has been updated but we are still missing some court dates so any NAPsters out there with court dates not in the diary please let us know

We have updated our current campaigns page to reflect the dates of the 3rd Darwin International Syringe Festival that will be launched very very soon

We fixed up a mistake on our main articles index - you will now be able to link to our article on "Paper Shuffling" - we had the wrong link up before

One of the articles that had gone down has now been restored. This was an article on the refusal of the Darwin City Council to issue a permit for our 7th smoke-in in late 2002 so it is particularly relevant at the current time

And you can download the poster for the 19th Community Smoke-In for Human Rights by clicking here

Stay tuned!!!
