Latest News from NAPNT

The Network Against Prohibition (NAP) is a group dedicated to promoting and protecting the health and human rights of illicit drug users around the globe as well as the rights of those living in communities in developing countries who rely on opium, coca, cannabis etc for their survival! NAP originally formed in Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia, however, an expansion is underway.

NAP members will be in Court 2 at the Darwin Magistrate's Court Today for a committal hearing into the 6th Community Smoke-in last year. Supporters are very welcome. This committal hearing is currently set down until 4.30pm wednesday.

Mick Lambe and Ema Corro will be in the Magistrate's court for charges arising from the same incident on Thursday and Friday this week.

Robert Inder-Smith was adjourned until the 28th of November, as his charges were not indictable (not serious enough to warrant a judge and jury in the supreme court.)
