The Network Against Prohibition (NAP) is a group dedicated to promoting and protecting the health and human rights of illicit drug users around the globe as well as the rights of those living in communities in developing countries who rely on opium, coca, cannabis etc for their survival! NAP originally formed in Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia, however, an expansion is underway.

Sunday, June 1

This will be a big week for the Network Against Prohibition activists in the
Darwin Magistrate's Court.



On Monday, we have a number of cases, all at 10am.



4 NAP activists face a 2 day(monday and tuesday) hearing criminal damage
for billpasting, despite this charge being thrown out twice already (Magistrate
Blockland found that billpasting was not criminal damage).



NAP activists will also have case management inquiries/contest mentions for
alleged unlawful entries to the Chief Minister's Electorate office and the Chief
Health Officer's office last year.



NAP activist Scott White, who was extradited from Tasmania for "failing to
cease to loiter" outside the justice department will also appear in court on
Monday.



Tuesday will see final sentencing submissions from the NAP crew in the
parliament invasion case. This starts at 9am.



Thursday is the big day when 5 parliament invaders will be sentenced by
Magistrate Dick Wallace, they have been told to expect imprisonment. This is
happening at 10am.



Friday, another 2 NAPsters from the parliament invasion case will be
sentenced.



All in a weeks work for the Network Against Prohibition.
