DARWIN COMMUNITY SET TO FIGHT LABOR’S DRUG LAWS

Concerned Darwin Community members have pledged that they will fight the Drug House Legislation proposed by the NT Labor Government.

A new group “Network Against Prohibition – NAP” has formed to continue the campaign against the draconian legislation and to fight all aspects of prohibition and zero tolerance policing.

NAP spokesperson Gary Meyerhoff said “NAP will employ direct action tactics to keep the pressure on the NT Labor Government. Prohibition has failed all over the world and Labor should be dismantling this system rather than reinforcing it.”

“NAP members are also extremely alarmed that Police Commissioner Paul White has targeted Cannabis and has promised to target people at the bottom levels of the trade.”

NAP spokesperson Gary Meyerhoff said “our new police commissioner is an absolute moron!”

NAP will hold a number of events during the lead-up to the passage of the legislation and invite all Pot smokers to attend a “Community Session” in Raintree Park at 12pm on the 20th of April.

Stay tuned for other events and actions. For further info contact Gary on 0415 16 2525 or Scott on 8945 6042
